Medical products are used all over the body. Therefore these products must especially be made in forms to match with the usage. Products and packaging are often provided with appropriate features in order to facilitate the handling in daily use.
Would dressings must meet completely different criteria than TTS-pads. Therefore completely different materials are also used. Diagnostic products are of a rather technical nature. Foam patches cushion, while hydrocolloid patches protect and heal. Due to the different functions of the materials within the product, the web components show very different behaviour patterns during production. It is still more sensitive if components must be mounted, printed or firmly connected. On the other hand, we are of course also working on solutions that allow up to 16 formats to run on a machine.
